Tab Mapper

The tab mapper is a handy little tool that will render a guitar tab file with graphic chord diagrams displayed alongside. This comes in handy for people who just don't have every single chord shape memorized. Just plug in the web site address of a valid .tab or .crd file and hit "Go". In general, the tab mapper does a better job with printer friendly URLs. If there is more than one way to play a chord, the tab mapper will choose the most common shape. To see other fingerings, click on the chord diagram and you will be taken to the chord calculator.

The Coaching Process

Working one-on-one with a Holistic Health Coach will help to simplify your health journey by providing you with the support and guidance needed to make changes and build long-lasting habits. Before you dive into working with a Holistic Health Coach, you?ll have the opportunity to sit and talk about what is currently going on with your health, where you want to see yourself, and how they can support you. This will help you get to know your Holistic Health Coach and vice versa to understand whether you will both be a good fit to work together. From there, you will be guided through the processes outlined below to optimize your time with your Holistic Health Coach and get started on becoming the healthiest version of you!

Pre-Consultation

During your complementary session, you'll discuss your current state of health, what your health and fitness goals are, and get to know your coach to understand how you'll work together to be supported to achieve your goals.

Health History

Complete a health history form to assist your coach in gaining a better understanding of your medical history. This will help to guide them in the best direction to offer you guidance and support in your health and fitness goals.

Wholistic Wheel

We are holistic beings, meaning that health and fitness is only one facet of what brings us true well-being. The Wholistic Wheel is a self-assessment tool to help you identify where you currently are in the various areas of your life.

Identify Goals

Identify your goals to help to determine unhealthy habits and develop strategies to overcome any challenges. This will provide accountability, ensure that progress is being made, and encourage long-term success.

Align Values

Identify and understand what your values are, what matters most to you, to help you align with and achieve your health goals. Your values drive you and determine how far you will go to reach your destination (aka goals).

Personalized Plan

You are unique and so are your health goals. Your health coach will design a personalized plan that it is specific to you and your needs. This plan will also be tailored in a way to help you develop sustainable, lifelong habits.

The food you consume becomes the building blocks of your body and influences how you think, feel, and act. We are not here to overwhelm you with diet trends or tell you what foods are good for you and which are not. Rather we are here to guide and educate you to understand your relationship with food so you feel empowered and confident when you do make food choices.

Move Joyfully

It?s no secret that exercise is good for you. However, have you ever considered if the exercises you perform are what is best for your overall well being or why you might not be able to stick to a workout routine? Understanding your body type and being in sync with your cycle will help to determine how to bring more joy and consistency to your workout routines.

Food and movement are important to live a healthy life, however, there is more to it. Optimize Your Health

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is considered one of the oldest healing sciences originating from India and is believed to be over 5,000 years ago. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means ?The Science or Sacred Knowledge of Life.? This traditional system of holistic healing teaches us a way of living that can help us to claim and celebrate our capacity for wellness. Ayurvedic medicine is rooted in nature and sees the world as it relates to the elements, the fundamental building blocks: ether, air, fire, water, and earth. A combination of the elements come together to make up the three doshas, or energy types, called Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. All three doshas are represented in a unique combination in everyone making up your specific constitution at birth. Determining your constitution and primary dosha is the first step towards finding and understanding your optimal state of balanced, natural health.

Understanding the Doshas

The three doshas, or energy types, are Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Each one embodies a combination of elements and qualities to create a functional entity that is expressed in a person?s body and mind. Vata consists of the air and ether elements, governs all movement and processes within the body, and carries the energy of creativity and connection. It is cool, light and dry in nature. Pitta consists of the fire and water elements, governs digestion and transformation, and carries the energy of intelligence and ambition. It is hot, light and oily in nature. Kapha consists of the earth and water elements, governs the structure and cohesiveness of the body, and carries the energy of grounding and stability. It is cool, heavy and oily in nature. The ratio of the three doshas you are born with is called your Ayurvedic constitution, or prakriti, and remains constant throughout your lifetime.
As you go through life, you also have the current state of balance, or vikriti, that represents the doshas that are elevated or aggravated within the body at a given time. If the doshas accumulate beyond the healthy limit of your prakriti, your Ayurvedic constitution, they can begin to cause trouble for your health. It is important and helpful to know both your Ayurvedic constitution and your current state of balance, which can and does change over time due to different climates, seasons, and various states of life. In Ayurveda, the focus is on pacifying the doshas in order to return to balance.
