Tab Mapper

The tab mapper is a handy little tool that will render a guitar tab file with graphic chord diagrams displayed alongside. This comes in handy for people who just don't have every single chord shape memorized. Just plug in the web site address of a valid .tab or .crd file and hit "Go". In general, the tab mapper does a better job with printer friendly URLs. If there is more than one way to play a chord, the tab mapper will choose the most common shape. To see other fingerings, click on the chord diagram and you will be taken to the chord calculator.

Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) (Junior College): Nurturing Future Leaders in Singapore

If you?re exploring educational options for your child in Singapore, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) (Junior College) (ACS(I)) is likely a top choice for quality education. Founded in 1886 by Reverend William Fitzjames Oldham, ACS(I) is a Methodist institution renowned for its holistic approach, blending academic rigor with character development and leadership training. The Junior College section, serving Years 5?6, is part of a six-year Integrated Programme (IP) that culminates in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, recognized globally for its high standards. With a commitment to nurturing ?Critical Thinkers, Thoughtful Leaders,? ACS(I) provides a nurturing environment that prepares students for success in academics, sports, arts, and beyond.

School Overview

Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) was established in 1886 as a boys? school, becoming one of Singapore?s first independent schools in 1988 under the Ministry of Education?s initiative. This status granted greater autonomy to innovate its curriculum and access private funding. In 1993, ACS(I) relocated from Barker Road to its current campus at 121 Dover Road, where it continues to thrive. The Junior College section, serving both boys and girls in Years 5?6, was introduced as part of the Integrated Programme in 2012, in partnership with Methodist Girls? School (MGS), allowing students to bypass the GCE O-Level examinations and pursue the IB Diploma.

The school?s educational philosophy is rooted in holistic development, guided by its core values of Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, and Empathy (P.R.I.D.E.). ACS(I) aims to sharpen the mind through rigorous academics, strengthen the body through sports, appreciate aesthetics via performing arts, deepen values through community engagement, and foster innovation through technology programs. Unique features include:

  • International Baccalaureate World School: Recognized since 2005, ACS(I) ranks among the top three IB schools globally.
