Tab Mapper

The tab mapper is a handy little tool that will render a guitar tab file with graphic chord diagrams displayed alongside. This comes in handy for people who just don't have every single chord shape memorized. Just plug in the web site address of a valid .tab or .crd file and hit "Go". In general, the tab mapper does a better job with printer friendly URLs. If there is more than one way to play a chord, the tab mapper will choose the most common shape. To see other fingerings, click on the chord diagram and you will be taken to the chord calculator.

Renowned for its rich heritage, state-of-the-art facilities, and commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals, this school offers an exceptional environment for boys to thrive. In this article, we explore the school?s history, academic achievements, facilities, extracurricular offerings, and the critical role of mathematics education, while introducing Odyssey Math Tuition (OMT) as a valuable resource for students.

School Overview

Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) is a proud member of the Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) family, which was founded in 1886 by Bishop William Fitzjames Oldham in a shophouse on Amoy Street with just 13 students. The Barker Road campus, established on January 1, 1994, was created to provide an ACS education to students from ACS primary schools who could not gain admission to ACS (Independent) but wished to continue their secondary education within the ACS network. Today, ACS (Barker Road) serves students in the Express, Normal Academic, and Normal Technical streams, offering a comprehensive education that balances academic rigor with character development.

The school?s educational philosophy centers on holistic growth, guided by its Applied Learning Programme (ALP) in Languages, which aims to develop confident and effective communicators, and its Learning for Life Programme (LLP) in Sports & Outdoor Education, which focuses on building character through physical activities. As a government-aided, single-session boys? school, ACS (Barker Road) is unique in its provision of Special Educational Needs Officers to support students with diverse learning needs, ensuring an inclusive environment.
