Tab Mapper

The tab mapper is a handy little tool that will render a guitar tab file with graphic chord diagrams displayed alongside. This comes in handy for people who just don't have every single chord shape memorized. Just plug in the web site address of a valid .tab or .crd file and hit "Go". In general, the tab mapper does a better job with printer friendly URLs. If there is more than one way to play a chord, the tab mapper will choose the most common shape. To see other fingerings, click on the chord diagram and you will be taken to the chord calculator.

/ C / F G / x2

     C F G
Come back tonight
            C F G
Please come back tonight
  Am G F / G
I know I told you to stay

                    C F G
I know your logbook won't look right
                   C F G
But the highway is twice as fast at night
            C F G
Please come back tonight
Dm Am G Em
Wichita ain't so fa-ar away
         Dm Am G Em
And your fingerprints on me have begun to fade
(I swear nothing makes sense without you)

Verse 2 and 3:
Please come back tonight
The night don't feel like
A prison life
When you're with me
It'll go Omaha
It'll go St. Joe
It'll go KC
Then Topeka then to me

(Repeat verse chords)

I know your logbook won't look right
But the highway is twice as fast at night
Please come back tonight
Wichita ain't so fa-ar away
We'll end up talking on the phone half the night anyway
(I swear the world unravels without you)

Ending sequence:
/ Em / Am / F /
