I had a great experience getting rings made at Vancouver Diamonds! For the diamond, I gave Josh the particular cut that I was looking for, and a range for the grade of clarity, color, carat, cut rating, and roughly what I wanted to spend. Josh provided a list of stones to choose from, with GIA gradings, pictures, and videos. We selected the stone with the best gradings available within my price range.Once we received the stone, I was able to provide all of the specifications for the design of the rings along with the type of metal. I am first to admit that I am rather obsessive over details. The end products were EXACTLY what I requested. Josh was extremely patient, helpful, and I genuinely enjoyed the whole process. Wow, kind of tough to express how grateful I am of Josh and his help at Vancouver Diamonds! He was able to get me exactly what I wanted for a fraction of the price that popular major diamond retailers were quoting it to me for. Bigger cut and better clarity, size etc, just over 40% cheaper than other diamond places (basically I was able to get .7 carrots bigger and a customized diamond band for less than at other diamond stores)! So I got recommended Josh?s shop from a few friends, and I had been to the traditional route of Spence Diamonds and all the other big places and just wasn?t happy at all. I ALWAYS read reviews before I go to any place. Whether it?s a $10 bowl of Pho or thousands on a diamond. After reading multiple reviews the only bad one I seemed to find was about customer service. And I know that often that can be a person vs person situation. Nevertheless I thought I should give this place a shot. From the minute I walked in I felt comfortable and felt welcome. For an anniversary, we decided to upgrade our original 1ct solitaire ring to something closer to 2ct. Doing research in stores, and comparing international and local online prices, Josh's prices were the most competitive. Going through a wholesaler can be an unconventional way to buy a diamond ring; however, if you're result-driven and looking for the best quality at the fairest price, I would shop with Josh at Vancouver Diamonds. He is busy for a reason! The final ring was better and more beautiful than we had imagined. Just wanted to share my experience with Vancouver Diamonds. I had shopped around at a bunch of shops for an engagement ring and honestly, was not impressed with the prices I was being offered. Even for some shops the service provided wasn't so welcoming during the browsing and inquiring process.
