The tab mapper is a handy little tool that will render a guitar tab file with graphic chord diagrams displayed alongside. This comes in handy for people who just don't have every single chord shape memorized. Just plug in the web site address of a valid .tab or .crd file and hit "Go". In general, the tab mapper does a better job with printer friendly URLs. If there is more than one way to play a chord, the tab mapper will choose the most common shape. To see other fingerings, click on the chord diagram and you will be taken to the chord calculator.

How to install and activate the app?
Start by downloading the latest .apk from our website. Installing the app might require enabling the option of installing from unknown sources. Use the register form on the website and you'll receive an activation link on your provided e-mail. Open the activation link on the device where you've installed the app and the app should launch with your login. In case of issues, please feel free to contact us using the following address: help(at)tak.si
Info about android requirements (permissions)
In order to use the app, the app needs permissions to get your location. If you're just using the app to catch a ride, the app will let you find drivers nearby with just the approximate location enabled. To ensure a better experience, we strongly suggest letting the app access your precise location.
Known bugs
Using the app
In order for the app to work as intended (searching for a nearby driver or offering rides to others), the app has to be kept in focus for it to continue talking with the server. This means the screen has to be on with the app running in the foreground. This is due to the underlying tech which was used to make the app. If you're an experienced (Java) developer and would like to help out with the project, please feel free to reach out (contact: dev(at)tak.si). We're looking for a way to convert the API communications as a backround service, letting the app work when not in focus.
