Tab Mapper

The tab mapper is a handy little tool that will render a guitar tab file with graphic chord diagrams displayed alongside. This comes in handy for people who just don't have every single chord shape memorized. Just plug in the web site address of a valid .tab or .crd file and hit "Go". In general, the tab mapper does a better job with printer friendly URLs. If there is more than one way to play a chord, the tab mapper will choose the most common shape. To see other fingerings, click on the chord diagram and you will be taken to the chord calculator.

Olivia Grace

Our newest addition made her appearance into the world last night at 8:10. It was a super quick delivery lasting less then an hour. Let me back up a bit though. So, I was 40 weeks going on 41 weeks pregnant. I was getting huge and super tired since sleep had been non exist ant the last few weeks. My mom suggested we tried castor oil, and so we made up a concoction that my mom got from her friend Stephanie. I drank that around 2:15.

I ended up throwing up the castor oil drink, and thinking that was that. I'll just have to wait for the baby to come on its own! So, I went about the day feeling good. No contractions, nothing! At 7:15 I started to get intense contractions. We started timing them and they were coming 2-4 min. apart. I called my midwife around 7:40 to let her know that things seemed to be progressing. The contractions were getting more, and more intense. I moved over to the couch to kneel and see if that would relieve some pain.

My water broke with the next contraction and my body told me it was time to push this baby out. I crawled from the couch to our bedroom scared that I wasn't going to make it. As soon as I got on the bed and Ruben checked me he could already see the baby's head. I pushed two times and she was here! Ruben caught her and was able to announce to my surprise that the baby was a little girl.

It was an amazing labor and delivery with no stitches and a healthy mom and baby. So thankful to The Lord that He protected little Olivia and I. I will admit I was a bit scared having an unexpected unassisted home birth but grateful for my husband being there for me.

Short Blogging Interruption!

I interrupt this blogging break for a short message! No baby yet, but having lots of braxton hicks and rib pain.

I have recently become a Lilla Rose Independent Designer. I am sure most of you have heard about Lilla Rose, but if not they have some beautiful hair jewelry.

A few of my favorites are the Flexi Clips and the bobby pins. The cut off for guaranteed Christmas shipping was the 7th of December, but that does not necessarily mean that you won't get them in time. I ordered a Flexi Clip for myself and received it in just a few short days. They make wonderful stocking stuffers ;)

Be sure to 'Like' my new Facebook Page Lilla Rose - Amber Ravatsaas to receive the latest offers and news! And stay tuned for my newest venture Next year!
